Right. The garden bit.

Ours is not the sort of garden section that sells you a rattan corner sofa and a gazebo. It is plants. Living things, mostly, and the occasional dried arrangement for those of us with a demonstrable track record of killing living things.

The problem with buying plants online has always been the arrival. Something leaves a warehouse looking magnificent and turns up looking like it has been through customs on foot. Plant in a Box has gone to considerable trouble to solve exactly that, and Savage Works brings a rather different sensibility to the same corner of the house.

Once the greenery is sorted, the rest of the room usually wants attention too. Lighting that makes a plant look like it was placed there deliberately. Pottery and glass worth putting something in. 

All of it from independents, and a good deal of it from makers chosen for what they stand for as much as what they make.
