Mirgoods is a small leather studio based in Tallinn, Estonia, run for over a decade by Dima — a maker who has built the brand around the slightly old-fashioned principles that distinguish a proper small-batch leather house from the more usual fast-fashion accessory operation. Every piece is made from vegetable-tanned Italian leather, the kind traditionally used by saddle-makers and shoe-makers for thousands of years; each item is hand-stitched using saddle-stitching technique, hot-creased and waxed at the edges, and individually serial-numbered to mark its place in a deliberately limited run. The result is the kind of leather goods that age genuinely well — developing a patina rather than wearing out, becoming more characterful rather than less — and that justify the slower production cycle they require.

The range is focused rather than sprawling: small leather goods (cardholders, wallets, keyholders), bags, belts, and clutches, with a particular attention to construction details that wouldn't survive a faster production process. The Button Wallet — handcrafted from a single piece of vegetable-tanned leather with no stitching, holding twelve cards plus banknotes and coins, finished with a brass snap and stamped "made in Estonia" on the inside — is a useful encapsulation of the brand's approach. The studio also runs hands-on workshops at Telliskivi Loomelinnak, Tallinn's creative quarter, where customers can make their own cardholder, keyholder, belt, or clutch under Dima's guidance — a level of transparency about craft that sits considerably ahead of the more usual leather-goods customer experience.
