Quiet Blue was founded by Jackie Stapleton — a Pilates instructor who ran her own studios for thirteen years while managing a serious autoimmune condition, and who, when perimenopause arrived and intensified everything, decided to take a long, careful look at what she was burning in her home. The discovery was not comfortable. Many of the luxury candles she had trusted for years contained paraffin wax and artificial fragrance oils that release hormone-disrupting chemicals on burning — precisely the opposite of what someone managing hormonal change needs in their living room. Jackie had a degree in Interior Design, a deep knowledge of the wellness industry, and a very clear idea of what she wanted to exist. She made it. Quiet Blue is based in Windsor, built around a small, purposeful edit of natural aromatherapy candles and reed diffusers, and developed in collaboration with a clinical aromatherapist who brought the science to match Jackie's conviction.

The MNPS/1 Sleep Support Candle is the brand's founding piece and its most significant — developed specifically to address the shifting sleep patterns that come with perimenopause and menopause, using May Chang for its anti-anxiety properties, Neroli for calming the nervous system, Mandarin for quieting an overactive mind, and Geranium for balancing hormones and stabilising mood. The number in the name reflects the product's philosophy: sleep is the foundation, the first intervention, the thing that changes everything else. The destination collections — Sicily, Sydney, Corfu — bring the same clinical rigour to wellbeing candles and large-format XL reed diffusers, each scent designed to support rather than simply smell good. All products are vegan, paraffin-free, made in the UK in small batches without hormone-disrupting toxins. No advertising spend — every decision goes into the formulation instead. The name Quiet Blue itself carries the message: grounding over stimulation, clarity over noise.
