Sharon Jane Studio was founded in Stockport, Cheshire in 2011 by Sharon — a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London, whose design instincts run from botanical and geometric to retro and painterly, and whose working method has remained consistent since the beginning: every pattern starts as a sketch or painting made in the studio, by hand, before anything is printed. The studio is a member of ACID — Anti Copying in Design — which means every pattern is registered and legally protected, and that when you buy a Sharon Jane piece you are buying original design rather than something assembled from trend reports. Bespoke commissions have included work for Morag Myerscough's studio, and trade prices are available for interior designers and architects who want to bring the work into their projects.

Wallpapers are printed to order using a combination of hand screen printing and digital methods, on FSC-certified non-woven paper — a heavyweight substrate that handles well, hangs without fuss, and holds Greenguard Gold certification for water-based inks, which is the highest available indoor air quality standard. Rolls are 10 metres by 52cm. Samples are A3. Cushions come in three sizes with locally sourced feather inners. Lampshades and tea towels complete the interior edit. All bespoke — including custom colourways, resized cushions or lampshades, and entirely new wallpaper designs commissioned to suit a specific room. Printed in the UK in short runs for an exclusive look. Dispatched within approximately two weeks of order confirmation. This is wallpaper with a person behind it, answering emails directly, and genuinely invested in how the paper looks on your wall.
