Helen Anthony is the rather operatic London luxury house founded in 2014 by designer Naeem Anthony — and the name is the slightly tender bit: a portmanteau of his own surname and his great-grandmother Helen Thomas, who first encouraged him to take up tailoring. Headquartered now in a three-storey flagship on Conduit Street in Mayfair (steps from Savile Row, in a Crown Estate building, with a slate-grey interior the size of a small ballroom), the brand has released collections at Milan, New York, three editions of London Fashion Week, and the Pitti Uomo expo in Florence — alongside features in GQ, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle. Established collaborations include Maurice Sedwell of Savile Row and an official sponsorship from Huddersfield Fine Worsted, the Yorkshire mill widely considered the most prestigious in the world.

The signature aesthetic is east-meets-west: an eastern palette and pattern language layered onto western tailored silhouettes, with the brand pushing properly seriously into genderless and unisex design. The catalogue covers bespoke couture and ready-to-wear for men, women, and children — sharply structured suits, double-breasted velvet blazers, sweeping maxi coats, hand-embroidered gowns, hand-knitted jumpers, leather jackets, small leather goods, and the sort of accessories that arrive with their own personality. Fabrics are designed in the UK in collaboration with British luxury mills (cashmere, wool, satin, and the occasional unexpected mesh). Sustainability sits unusually high on the brand's working agenda for a maximalist fashion house — ethical sourcing throughout, with a quiet but properly evidenced commitment to responsible craftsmanship.
